Comparing two oversized shoes from Fashion Designers in real Live scenario

Solution for heavy Runners?

For people with more than 100kg it is always a challenge to find stable shoes for walking and running. Every now and then, a shoe style emerges that stands out from the crowd.
Much of what is advertised in the shoe industry is not as good as it appears. For example, “memory foam” sounds appealing, but is it actually better for your feet?
They coming up with some shoes now they call OVERSIZED Sport Shoes.

A lot of sensationalized marketing revolves around some athletic shoes. The majority of the athletic shoes that are  proposed may be worn for both daily activities , sports and jogging.
However, these Oversized Shoes might run into a problem, that you should avoid
Hoka, Ascis, ON, Balenciaga, Balmain have become a well-known among running shoe brands. Usually the running shoe is more lean and smaller, the Ball Play shoes are more hight or mid high and cushioned for side steps. The oversized shoes feature a broader foundation than conventional running shoes, giving them a clunky and enormous appearance. Running shoes with bigger midsoles are intended to improve performance while decreasing injuries.

Unfortunately, this larger base might result in falls while not running. According to the HOKA firm, “using this product for anything other than running may impair balance and dexterity.” Although bigger shoes have advantages for running, they should be used with prudence in everyday situations.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, some customers have fallen while going down stairs or even wandering about the store trying them on. It is critical wearing Hoka shoes on stairs and while driving requires significant caution.

One Solution is to take that Oversized to the Top:

On the one Side of my compare is on of the Balmain Unicorn Shoes, on the other side is one of the Balenciaga Track 2 Sneakers.
For the looks and best working shoe experience with VERY SAFE stand and NO MORE ankle sprains on myself, 
I looked into this oversized shoes during my search for the ideal sports shoe for different foot conditions. I needed a shoe that let you walk stable with any weight without leaning weight to medial (inside) or lateral (outside).

According to an average Sizing Table my foot is 27,9 cm or 11 Inches. That is making me a size 45 or in US a Size 11. Like on most people, my feet are not the same right and left, so I usually go for the longer foot size and have the other with little space.

It is my pleasure to show you my own personal optical and later functional compare between the BALMAIN Unicorn Sneakers with their great options and the Balenciaga Track Multicolor Sneakers, a very stable shoe version with nice colors.
Both them come in different color setups. Prices vary sometimes on availability and colors. Both are low-top panelled buffed sneakers.

The Balmain I selected comes in calfskin and neoprene in black and red. Others are on neon yellow or white or silver. On these you find sculptural rubber trim throughout. Sculptural rubber midsole, Treaded rubber outsole.
Color is Black/Red Upper is textile, calfskin. Sole is rubber and very sturdy.

The Balenciaga is coming in a classic low-cut silhouette, also these designer sneakers are a combination of luxury, comfort, and style. They are designed with signature details and comfortable insoles. Gender Male, Exterior Material is Leather, Mesh and Rubber; the Lining Material is Fabric, Insole Material is Fabric, Sole Material is Rubber, Outsole Length: 36 cm, Outsole Width: 14 cm. Mine have another little but useful gimmick: there are two independent or interactive lace systems on that shoe, which allow to fix the inside layer of the shoe or the outside shell tighter. Depending on your needs than can bring another layer of stability.

Running in these feels funny and gives little Knee stress (like MBT Shoes), but they feel good for everything in walking! 
They are quite bulky and may block pedals of your car if one is not taking care.

The price tag is rather on the high end, however offers are always available (I did catch it…) and they deliver a bold fashion statement too.

In this short overview over these extraordinary looking sneakers, I want to give you my experience with what I was able to try, test, and get to buy here.

I use them for outside walking, for work in my clinic and for going out.
They are not light by weight (might be a problem for long distance running), but they feel secure and stable and left me never with the feeling that my ankles are instable.
These shoes don’t come out of an established sport shoe company, rather from a fashion company. However, as you can see in my other blog for “My Search for the right Trainers, Sneakers, Runner Shoes, and staying cool in all walks” in which I came over some very interesting sport shoes from dedicated designers. They are an interesting alternative for heavy persons needing sneakers to get around.
